Description: LongPlayer is a program that automatically fills your winamp or xmms playlist
It is meant for those who have converted all of their CD's into mp3's and want to use their PC as a jukebox. Instead of turning on the radio, they just start winamp, enqueue their entire music directory and put the whole thing on random play.
However, you quickly get irritated after a while, the main reason for this being the birthday-problem: the chances that you hear a particular song twice in, say the same day, are quite small, but the odds of ANY song playing twice in that timespan, are real, very real.
So longPlayer tries to avoid all of this by maximizing the timespan between you hearing the same song (any song) again. That's the main idea.
If you have lots of music on your HD, give it a try...
