mrtg-pnsclient.pl

This is an interface to allow MRTG to query the NetSaint pNSClient agent which
runs on Windows servers. Go to http://nsclient.ready2run.nl/ to obtain a
copy of the agent. This script would be called from your .cfg file instead
of using SNMP.

See the example .cfg file to see how to use this.

Released under GPL. The pNSClient software is not mine.

Usage:
	mrtg-pnsclient [-r] -H <hostname> [ -p <port> ] [ -t <timeout> ]
		-v <module> [ -l <arg> ] [ -o <offset> ]
		[ -v <module> [ -l <arg> ] [ -o <offset> ]]

-H : specify hostname to contact
-p : specify non-standard port
-t : timeout in seconds (default 10)
-v : pnsclient module -- eg, COUNTER, CPU, MEMORY, DISKSPACE, etc etc
-l : Argument to module, if required
-o : 0 or 1 -- offset of required value in response set. Default 0.
-r : Ratio/Percentage mode -- return the relative % of the return values. Good
for when using DISKSPACE (offset 1 is the size, 0 is the space used)

If no second -v is given, then the second value defaults to being the
offset 1 value in the first response (if one exists) and 0 otherwise.

Note: This does not work so well with NC_Net 2.28 because NC_Net is single
threaded. A race condition in NC_Net causes all other queries to be returned
with a blank while it is processing one. Therefore, if you query two stats
at once, the second my return unknown. This problem does not affect pNSclient
because it is multithreading.
