Macmillan Publishing offers customer and technical support for this product.
The methods and terms of support are outlined in the following sections.



Replacement Media

If you need a new replacement disc due to damaged product, you can obtain a
replacement within 90 days of your purchase date. Send the damaged product,
a copy of the sales receipt, and a letter briefly explaining the problem to:

Obtaining Technical Support

If you are having difficulty getting the software to function properly, and
have gone through all the steps outlined in the manuals, please contact our
technical support staff.

                    Note: Before contacting technical support, be sure to
                    read through all of the documentation and help files
                    available on both the CD-ROM and installed with the
                    product. You should also consult Macmillan's Linux
                    support Web site at: linuxsupport.romnet.com and the
                    Linux Quake HOWTO on the Web at:
                    www.linuxquake.com/howto/.



No Charge Technical Support

Technical support is offered, at no charge, via electronic mail and fax.
Most technical problems can be solved through these methods. Queries are
answered within 24hours, providing the following information is provided:

  1. Complete product title.
  2. Exact error message reported (if any) and brief description of the
     problem.
  3. Your computer make, processor, speed, and configuration.
  4. The distribution and version of the operating system you are using.
  5. Make and model of your video card, sound card, and if applicable,
     network card and access method.
  6. Complete contact info, including your name, fax number or email
     address.

Paid Technical Support

Technical support is also available via telephone, at a cost of $2.50 for
the first minute and $1.50 for each additional minute. Technical support
representatives are available between the hours of 7am - 1am Monday through
Friday, and 8am - 8pm on Saturday and Sunday. (Note: Technical support will
not be available on most national holidays.) Please have the information
outlined in the previous section ready before you call.
