Configuration tips for run ifp-line by non-root users.

Note:
if you run nonroot.sh, the changes described below will be applied
to your system.  But, that script isn't perfect.  If you can't run
by non-root user, try to configuration yourself with this document.


Linux(with hotplugging support):

From giriver's README (this scripts based on Kir Kolyshkin's RPM):

FreeBSD 4.* / NetBSD:
(for operator(FreeBSD)/wheel(NetBSD) group members)
# chmod g+rw /dev/usb* /dev/ugen*

(for all users)
# chmod a+rw /dev/usb* /dev/ugen*


FreeBSD 5.*:
# devfs rule apply path "ugen" mode "664" (for operator group members)
# devfs rule apply path "ugen" mode "666" (for all users)
(But it temporary. if you plug off the USB cable, this configuration disable)


in FreeBSD 5.2-RELEASE later, add this to /etc/devfs.rules
====COPY THIS TO /etc/devfs.rules
[iriver_ruleset=4012]
add	path	'ugen*'	mode	664	# permission of /dev/ugen* set to 664
====COPY THIS TO /etc/devfs.rules

and add this line to /etc/rc.conf and reboot.
devfs_system_ruleset="iriver_ruleset"
 
If you change only /etc/devfs.rules, type this command by root
for enable your configuration(Don't need to reboot).
# /etc/rc.d/devfs start

Mac OS X:
You can run ifp by non-root user on Mac OS X.  Have fun!
