Please note that acconfig.h has become obsolete as with 
autoconf version 2.53.

There is a new version of AC_DEFINE*, where you can add
a third description parameter, and this value is read 
by autoheader when generating installation headers like
setup.h.in in our case.

Therefore, acconfig.h has been removed from this 
repository also.
